Regionally Oriented Military Logistics

CSMI Management and field staff have significant experience managing a wide variety of security and technical support operations OCONUS. We leverage this regional orientation and experience to quickly develop military logistics, plans, and procedures to deploy and provide field technical support and NET training for various types of security technologies.

Southwest Asia (SWA) and Horn of Africa (HOA)

CSMI is currently providing technical support for a large number for Force Protection and Counter IED technology based systems in the SWA region and HOA in support of DoD, DoS and NATO. CSMI has established, implemented, and provided field sustainment for technology based systems in the following countries:

  • Iraq
  • Afghanistan
  • Pakistan
  • Kuwait
  • Djibouti
  • Qatar

To support system deployments to SWA/HOA, CSMI has logistical supply hubs Iraq at Baghdad, Al Taqaddum and Balad and Afghanistan logistics supply hubs in Bagram AFB and Kabul. These support hubs are primary logistical and management centers providing daily interface with end users and tracking transportation assets.  CSMI support personnel are also currently supporting Force Protection systems in Djibouti.

CSMI currently has a substantial number of military logistics FSR’s in the SWA region who are forward deployed on a full time basis to Forward Operating Bases (FOB) throughout Iraq and Afghanistan supporting US Military and NATO units and facilities. Many of CSMI’s FSR’s were previously deployed to SWA while on active duty with the US Military, giving them the experience and knowledge to accomplish difficult tasks despite the many challenges in the region.

Latin America

CSMI personnel have substantial experience in most Latin American countries. Many of our personnel have worked directly with Host Nation governments to support counterdrug efforts and in support of Foreign Internal Defense. Many of our personnel have held positions in US Embassies supporting US and Host Nation military efforts. CSMI personnel have performed analysis and assessment of most seaports and land borders crossings in Central America, as well as Peru, Ecuador and Colombia. These assessments were for the potential employment of technology based security systems in support of several US sponsored and host nation initiatives. CSMI has developed a support network throughout the region and all CSMI personnel selected to perform in Latin America are regionally experienced and bi-lingual.
