IT/Communications Sustainment and Operations

CSMI Information Systems professionals perform comprehensive IT management tasks on behalf of our customers at multiple forward locations.  Our IT support personnel are certified in a wide variety of applications to include CISCO and Microsoft.  Tasks performed by deployed CSMI IT professionals include but are not limited to the following:

  • System design, planning, integration and optimization
  • New network and domain services equipment/software installations
  • Monitoring of all network devices
  • Tier I to III troubleshooting of network issues
  • Scheduling and reporting of Authorized Outages (AOs)
  • Changes to current configurations
  • Site surveys, including rack elevations of current and future layouts
  • Maintaining all deployed documentation to include current and future floor plans, rack elevations, equipment lists, router/switch configurations, and spare inventory
  • Management of IP address space
  • Help Desk support

CSMI provides our customers with the capability to rapidly deploy and integrate a wide variety of communications systems OCONUS. Our field maintenance technical teams perform system integration and sustainment at forward installations and on mobile platforms which allow our customers to communicate at forward areas and while on the move via voice, video and satellite. System integration measures include:

  • Platform/facility surveys and assessments
  • Integration design support packages for the integration of multiple system communications components
  • Complete system installation to include test and acceptance planning with end use customer
  • Comprehensive maintenance and training support programs tailored to meet customer specific requirements
