Field Service Representatives
General Responsibilities:
- Perform installation, service and support of electronic or electro-mechanical systems
- Perform electronics troubleshooting to the component level using schematics, diagrams and various test measurement devices (multi-meters, O-scopes, signal generators etc)
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance
- Perform Operator training as required
- Complete service reports and other documentation as required
- Coordinate with DoD end use customer for support, communications, and transportation
- Responsible to maintain customer relationships
- Travel to various DoD bases to perform system service, support and training
- Responsible to track spare parts utilization
Work experience and requirements:
- Minimum 8 years experience performing maintenance on electronics or electro-mechanical systems
- Must have experience reading wiring diagrams, schematics, blueprints and other forms of technical documentation
- Must have experience performing fault isolation of electronics circuits to the component level with digital multi-meters, O-scopes, or other test measurement devices
- Must have a valid US passport
- Must be capable of living in field conditions at US Military bases
- Must be familiar with a PC operating in a windows environment
- Must successfully attend and complete OEM factory certification training
- Must successfully complete US Military deployment processing (CONUS Replacement Center – CRC) upon completion of factory certification
- Must be in good health - able to pass a physical and dental exam for DoD deployment processing
Desired skills and experience:
- Former US Military experience
- Prior experience operating in hazardous or austere environments
Educational Requirements:
- High school graduate
- Vocational or US Military training courses
- Equivalent work experience
