Field Service Representatives

General Responsibilities:
 

  • Perform installation, service and support of electronic or electro-mechanical systems
  • Perform electronics troubleshooting to the component level using schematics, diagrams and various test measurement devices (multi-meters, O-scopes, signal generators etc)
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance
  • Perform Operator training as required
  • Complete service reports and other documentation as required
  • Coordinate with DoD end use customer for support, communications, and transportation
  • Responsible to maintain customer relationships
  • Travel to various DoD bases to perform system service, support and training
  • Responsible to track spare parts utilization

Work experience and requirements:
 

  • Minimum 8 years experience performing maintenance on electronics or electro-mechanical systems
  • Must have experience reading wiring diagrams, schematics, blueprints and other forms of technical documentation
  • Must have experience performing fault isolation of electronics circuits to the component level with digital multi-meters, O-scopes, or other test measurement devices
  • Must have a valid US passport
  • Must be capable of living in field conditions at US Military bases
  • Must be familiar with a PC operating in a windows environment
  • Must successfully attend and complete OEM factory certification training
  • Must successfully complete US Military deployment processing (CONUS Replacement Center – CRC) upon completion of factory certification
  • Must be in good health - able to pass a physical and dental exam for DoD deployment processing

Desired skills and experience:
 

  • Former US Military experience
  • Prior experience operating in hazardous or austere environments

Educational Requirements:
 

  • High school graduate
  • Vocational or US Military training courses
  • Equivalent work experience
