General Responsibilities:
- Perform
installation, technical service and support of technology based security
systems in Iraq/Afghanistan
- Perform
electronics/electromechanical troubleshooting to the component level using schematics,
diagrams and various test measurement devices (multi-meters, O-scopes, signal
generators etc)
- Perform
preventive and corrective maintenance
- Conduct system operator training for end users
- Complete
and transmit detailed service reports and other technical documentation as
required
- Coordinate
with DoD end use customer for support, communications, and transportation
- Responsible
to maintain customer relationships
- Travel
via helicopter or military convoy to various Forward Operating Bases to perform
system service, support and training
- Responsible
document spare parts utilization
- Takes
direction from the field management team
Work Experience and Requirements:
- Minimum
6 years documented experience performing technical maintenance of electronics
or electro-mechanical systems
- DoD
SECRET security clearance
- Must
have experience reading wiring diagrams, schematics, blueprints and other forms
of technical documentation
- Must
have experience performing fault isolation of electronic circuits and
electro-mechanical systems to the component level with digital multi-meters,
O-scopes, or other test measurement devices
- Must
have a valid US passport
- Must
be capable of living in field conditions at US Military bases
- Must
be familiar with a PC operating in a windows environment
- Must
successfully attend and complete OEM system orientation training
- Must
successfully complete US Military deployment processing (CONUS Replacement
Center – CRC)
- Must
be in good health - able to pass a physical and dental exam for DoD deployment
processing
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Former
US Military experience
- Electronics/electromechanical
technical support background
- Previous
deployments OCONUS providing technical support for electronics or
electromechanical systems
Educational Requirements:
- High
school graduate, degree is a plus
- Technical
Degree, Vocational Certificate or US Military training courses
- Equivalent
work experience
